How do I name a face?

If you would like to recognise a member’s (student, staff) face in a photo but Automated Face Recognition Technology (AFRT) is not activated in the Media Gallery, your role may enable you to manually tag their face by clicking on People and then the Identify New Face button. This allows you to manually draw a box around the face and tag it, linking it to an existing member, or to create a new member or Person (not associated to the school i.e., visitor) record. Alternatively, if your role does not allow you to manually tag, you can ask the Gallery Administrator to name the member by adding the photo to your Working Tray and selecting the Flag action, asking them to name the member providing a reason for flagging and the action required.
